Evaluations/Tryouts start tomorrow!

Before we share some final details about CHBA Tryouts, we want to acknowledge that September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.  We encourage our members to wear orange to honour the thousands of Survivors of residential schools.

U9 Evaluations and U11–U18  Tryouts Start Tomorrow

A reminder to stay tuned to chbawings.org. Look for ‘Tryouts and Evaluations' in the top menu and select your age division. This is where you can find your ice times, and information when groups change.

There are new documents shared containing the drills being used for players and goalies this weekend. Please share and discuss with your players.

The drills were shared earlier in the week, with a small update to the individual skills. (it was first shared that the 2 agility stations had drills with and without a puck. In fact, it is only with the puck.

Please note

  • Spectators are allowed for U9 Evaluations only
  • There are no ice times for U7 this weekend.
  • There were necessary changes to the groups. Groups are now final. Please have a final look.
  • Defence wears blue and forwards wear red for the first 2 sessions.
  • There were a few reporting errors and some positions were updated. We ask you all to look for your child's position (Forward/Defence) and ensure we have the right information.
  • If your player's position is wrong, please email rep_coordinator@chbawings.org
  • If your player’s name is missing, please email registrar@chbawings.org
